The Best Payroll Processing Companies Unveiled

BestPayrollServices.Com is a website that regularly conducts research in order to create a list of the top ten payroll processing services in the United States. Companies make the list based on a variety of factors, including their overall strength as a company and advantages that they offer over similar companies.

The latest top ten list from BestPayrollServices.com included: Paycor Incorporated, Paychex Incorporated, AmCheck, SurePayroll, ZPay Payroll Systems Incorporated, Intuit Incorporated, Paycom, ProPayroll Incorporated, Automatic Data Processing Incorporated, and Precise Payroll.

Unfortunately, as a Naperville resident, you’re not going tohave access to most of these big name payroll processing companies. The good news, however, is that you do have a great payroll company right in your own town. That payroll company, which also offers a variety of other financial services, is Susan S. Lewis Ltd. While it might not have the fancy name of some of these other companies, it provides what really matters: quality, concerned customer service from highly trained and experienced financial experts.

The Importance of Reliable Payroll Processing Software

Many companies rely on payroll processing software to help their businesses run as smoothly as possible. Unfortunately, however, all of that software isn’t as reliable or as easy to use as it might appear to be at first glance, and when payroll processing software doesn’t work correctly, it can cause major problems for the companies and businesses relying on that software. This point has been proven by the recent lawsuit filed against SAP, the creator of a payroll processing software program, by California’s state controller. The state controller claims that the software never really worked like it should and, worse yet, that it actually cost taxpayers a lot of money.

If you don’t want to find yourself in the same situation as the California state controller, who now has to fight tooth and nail to recoup his losses, work only with payroll software that is proven to work, or, even better yet, with actual people who can walk you through the payroll process step by step. You can find proven, dedicated help with payroll from the professionals at Susan S. Lewis, Ltd. of Naperville.

Prepaid Payroll Cards Increasing in Popularity

Within any business, there are bound to be employees who are considered “underbanked,” meaning they don’t have adequate banking services or completely “unbanked,” meaning they don’t have a banking institution at all, either because they simply don’t want to, are uninformed about the benefits of banking, or are unable to have a bank account for various reasons. How do companies handle payroll processing for these employees? While there are a variety of ways in which payroll matters can be handled for the underbanked and unbanked, the vast majority of employers are turning to prepaid payroll cards.

In fact, in 2012 alone, employers in the United States placed more than $3.4 billion on 4.6 million prepaid payroll cards, and those numbers are increasing steadily. In fact, by 2017, the number of payroll cards being used is expected to double (at least), based on reports from Aite Group.

While some employees may look at these prepaid banking cards as a nice option, there are better choices out there, choices that can help employees to manage their money more effectively and to get more out of their money. If you are currently being paid via a prepaid payroll card and would like to look into other options, contact Susan S. Lewis, Ltd. of Naperville.
